Highland Rim is a geographical location in the north side of Nashville, TN. Highland Rim Tractor and Equipment Co was opened in 1970 by John S. Storey and his son John E. Storey. John S. Storey was a veteran and John E. Storey joined the company after serving in the US Navy for 4 years with an honorable discharge as well as several medal of good conduct. The business primarily was formed to serve the community and help those that need lawn and garden equipment to take care of there land. Also, to serve the commercial accounts.
After operation the business for 10 years John E. married Linda and she took over the sales department. While Mr. John S Storey retired John E. ran the business. In 1990 we signed up to be a Mahindra dealer. That was the beginning of a great relationship with Mahindra and Highland Rim Tractor. We have done shows and sold the tractors for all these years and it was the best decision we made. Since we took on Mahindra sales have soared and we even dropped our other lines to be a sole Mahindra dealer only.
The family now includes Jon C. Storey who runs the lawn and garden side of the business as well as takes care of the computers, phone system and advertising. We are now a third generation business ownership operating out of the same location for the last 41 Year with hundreds of happy Customers.
